The Story of ‘Rare’
While gem hunting, we purchased this exquisite gemstone from a couple who had found a small pocket of raw material in Transvaal, South Africa. At the time they did not realize that it was (mineralogically) a form of rare Garnet due to its unique color.
The Garnet is 13mm x 18mm.
The Sterling Silver band was created using a torch for a one-of-a-kind texture that is in perfect contrast to the smooth stone and bezel setting and 14kt Yellow Gold trim.
