FUNology
A wellness lifestyle that takes fun seriously
Wildly well as a child, I began struggling with unwellness in my early 20’s. I sought help from many health professionals, and finally, desperate to regain the well-being I had known as a child, I turned to the one person I had not considered before. Myself.
It was there that I discovered an internal toolbox with everything I needed to maintain holistic wellness for every age and stage of life.
For over 35 years, I’ve refined Funology into a practical methodosophy-one that’s held up through every life circumstance, including the recent, devastating loss of my husband of 45 years. These aren’t theoretical practices. They’re tested, adaptable tools for sustainable wellness.
Currently Developing: A 4-week, experiential course for the Middlebury College Psychology Department, guiding students on how to build wellness practices that work in EVERY life circumstance . . . in college and beyond. Find me (winter) Sundays, 10 am-2 pm at Rikert’s Outdoor Center's Burgin lodge (hot cocoa and homemade maple marshmallows!).
FOR MIDDLEBURY STUDENTS: Interested in a J-Term course on building sustainable wellness practices? [Link to survey or contact form]
